DDG Tech Notes

I’ve been questioned a couple of times about what the DDG in DDG Tech Notes stands for.  Well, it can mean a lot of things.  Here are just a few I’ve run into:

• Data Dissemination Grid (what the heck is that, and how do I get one?)
• Guided Missile Destroyer (I know, the acronym doesn’t fit, but apparently the Australian, United States and other navies have a different idea.)
• Stock Symbol for Proshares Trust
• DDG Inc. - a corporate entity somehow associated with Tubular Services LP

I’m sure there are more.

But mostly it stands for Del Duca Group (as in the url of this site, http://delducagroup.com).

Or Drop Dead Gorgeous.

Now that I think about it, I’ll bet it mostly stands for drop dead gorgeous…
